State of the Union 04

[After the failure that was the school ball, Massie took a much needed break from her entries. Not only was she stood up, her game idea a flop, but no one had even commented on her outfit. Ah, but resilient as she is, she's back and ready to move on to the next hopefully more successful conquest]

Would you look at that. It would appear that ( Read more... )

Dolce and Gabbana are over priced for their quality actually not to mention totally last season.

You shouldn't rely on magazines for what's trendy. They're always hopeless on what's hot, especially Teen Vogue who's more interested how much money they can get from the gullible.

[Fashion snob habits are a go.]

You Ah-bviously haven't been privileged enough to get a sneak peek at their newest line and Puh-lease, who is worried about the prices? [If you were here in person she'd be tempted to flash her gold card at you..] Money is nawt something I have to worry about.

Who said anything about relying on magazines? I mention one article and apparently that means I never look at anything else? I'm used to setting the trends, nawt following them...

[It's on]

Please. The mainstream lines are so predictable and boring anyway. Fashion isn't about labels it's about turning heads. [She's a trendy fashionista and it doesn't even cost her money take that miss cliche rich pants.] So that's why you spend it on such mediocre pieces?

Then why even read the articles? Especially if you've read them enough to be able to quote them.

[Oh you've got her going now this is a rare mood for Vanessa.]

At least you're half right. Fashion is about turning heads. I can't even begin to explain or fathom how wrong you are about the rest of it. [Ehmagawd, LABELS ARE SO IMPORTANT... even on an outfit that isn't from a designer you should at least pretend that it is!] I'm going to have to start calling to Faux-nessa now, aren't I?

A true fashion setter has to be aware of what's already available, unless you want to risk coming up with something completely unoriginal. Puh-lease everybody should know that.

[Oh, she can't even understand you.. she takes a wand of her Glossip Girl lip gloss and adds another coat just to be able to put up with you...]

Please, only the fashion idiots think it's about the labels. Everyone else knows what truly matters. I guess it's not your fault for having dollar bills where your brains should be. [Ah, what a great cat fight in the makings here. This could go on for a while.] I don't fake my labels, they're not worth it.

So that requires re-reading them? [She glances through them sometimes, but fashion magazines totally aren't something she worries about. When you stay ahead of the fashion world it's kind of pointless to see what they're wearing. Though it was satisfying to watch the rest of the world catch up to trends you'd already long since been wearing.]

[She's not supposed to be easy to understand. She's a Ravenclaw fashionista. That alone should tip off that she was confusing.]

Cute. You're not even creative enough to think up a proper comeback. Do you have any idea how unintelligent you sound? The sorting hat must have got confused and flipped a coin when it came to you or maybe Ravenclaw was so deficient for members they put you in it by default. [If they were in person.. she'd so make it physical. Proper cat fight!!] Being Faux, isn't just about the labels.. it's about being fake in general. Fauxnessa is perfect for you..

You'd think someone from Ravenclaw wouldn't be against reading. [So nawt true. Even artists look to other artists for inspiration.]

You don't have to. Just don't call her that.

What's it to you?

[Aw, poor baby. Did Massie strike a nerve?]

I don't like people messing with my sister.

[Vanessa is the biggest nerve Massie could strike]

Ehmagawd? Your sister?!

[Massie is batting 1000 today. It's too late now... and Catty never really connected anyway. It'll be sad to lose her frenemy though]

Yeah, she just transferred in.

[Oh, well. If Massie slows her roll now, she might be able to salvage shit]

I never knew you even had a sister? You two... look nothing alike.

Not all siblings look alike.
