what up
with respect to the last entry, things have been good. as i write this, katie is sitting on my lap..ha. we're getting ready to go and see a movie...i think we're going to see "the forgotten" or something like that. it should be pretty good, and the movie theatre serves alcohol. no drinking though...none.
so i'm happy for the first time in a long time..... katie and i have talked a lot about how we feel towards one another and i think we both agree that things are going good. she's now my girlfriend, well, as of monday....and i couldn't be happier.....
i'm getting to know trent pretty well too and the kid is pretty cool. every time i see him he comes running up to give me "five". he also gives me kisses "na-night"...the other day, i was sitting at the table and he came running up puckering and smacking his lips so i would give him a kiss goodnight....today, i was showing him how to blow bubbles...it's funny how he'll try to copy what i do...kinda scary, because i taught him to stick out his tongue the other day and i don't think katie liked it..i also taught him how to spit, but not really spit, kinda like when you stick out your tongue and make that sound....only he spits...and he can get in trouble at daycare for that stuff..or he'll get a "timeout"..have to be careful about that one ;). i try not to laugh when he throws stuff...but sometimes, it's funny.
one of the best things about this too is that my parents and all of my close friends are totally cool with everything....katie and trent are meeting my parents tomorrow, and i think everyone is looking forward to it...
katie is awesome....it's weird, if someone asked me to tell them exactly what it is about her that makes me so happy, i don't think that i could tell them just one thing. it's a lot of things....her smile (her dimple, but she stops smiling when i point it out), she's beautiful, her personality, how she's dealt with a lot of shit in the past year and still happy...how she manages to keep everything in her life straight...work, school, kid, boyfriend...she's got a full plate, but she handles it very well..and my respect for her grows more everyday that i'm with her..she's a true "pimpstress". well, i have to go now so we don't miss out on that movie......peace in the mid-west. and we're out...
