(no subject)
i just met a family of armadillo's down near my dad's workshop. there were 4 of them sniffing around the leaves looking for something to eat. they didn't bother about my dad or me, and i got about a foot away from one of them. then i tried to get close again, and the bloody thing started chasing me. so of course i ran away. i mean what if they bite? they have these little snouts which they put on everything. i'm not sure what they eat. they're pretty heavy, trot and canter like horses, and their back feet are really archaic looking. their shells looked flexy. sort of the consistency of rubber. too cute.
on other notes, i'm trying for another job at hopkins. the guy liked me, but since i only need the job for a year, he wasn't sure about the time frame. so...i can either apply to hopkins for real (thus far it has just been connections) or i can apply elsewhere. right now i'm being employed as a maid for me madre.
