Not much has been going on with me lately. I've dated a few girls here and there and nothing has panned out. Just broke up with my latest fling right after Christmas. Still working irregularly which is very trying, but I am managing well enough due to my current living situation.
Been trying to get stuff done at my house my Dad gave to me. It's going really slow, probably need to just find the right motivation to get things done. Right now my next project is to build a track in my backyard. I will either buy a go cart or one of my brother in laws quads in the near future. I'm sure I will be even more inclined to do so after I head out to Glamis next month.
Camarilla stuff has been somewhat interesting. I irregularly play my PC whenever I get the chance. Between being ST and other things going on I hardly get the time to do so. I am definitely looking forward to going to NWRE and hanging out and reconnecting with old friends and perhaps make some new ones along the way. I think the political dynamics are interesting to say the least. Looks like the Imperium is about to go through its first serious rough patch. I think things will calm down on the Los Angeles front now that I asked some of the players from my domain to "tone it down a notch" and let them do their thing. Hopefully that works. I've personally never had a vested interest in walking into someone else game and take over without their consent. I think it just makes for a bad atmosphere OOC. It used to happen to my Chapter when I first started playing, so I definitely know how it feels. Only time will tell I suppose.
I am also really looking forward to the reimplementation of Vampire the Masquerade. As it stands, my 3 main characters I wish to play are a toss up between a Son of Discord (Male Daughter of Cacophony), A Cam Loyal Assamite, or a Tremere. This game is already showing a lot of promise and a lot of people seem pretty jazzed about it.
Other than that I've been playing a lot of videogames again with my free time. Just recently finished Bayonetta. It was definitely a pleasant experience albeit some technical errors for the PS3 port. I would have gotten it for the 360 but alas mine is still down for the count via the red ring of death. Other games I've played recently that I enjoyed are New Super Mario Bros Wii thanks to Joe and Yvette getting me hooked on that crack, Infamous was fun as hell and I finished that, Assassins Creed 2 was crazy fun and I didn't put the controller down until I unlocked practically everything in that game. I'm definitely looking forward to the release of Final Fantasy XIII. I've been following that game like a hawk since it's announcement a couple of years ago. I've played (and liked) the demo that came with my import copy of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete on blu ray. Plus the videos of Final Fantasy Versus XIII look fucking awesome. I can't wait to play that either.
I've been polishing my Tatsunoko Vs Capcom skills at the arcade and on my import version I bought last year with my wireless fight stick. I'm looking forward to some tournaments that will no doubt crop up when its finally released in America at the end of the month. I get the feeling Im gonna play a lot more of that game and probably have to change my playstyle due to the addition of several new characters that are coming on the American release. Only time will tell.
Lastly, I'm about to start training again for my next pro tournament for Street Fighter 4. This will probably include me clocking in an average of 25 hours a week with probably at least 4 in the training mode to get the rust off of all my combos. I will most likely play as Guile or Gouken this time around instead of Akuma or Zangief. Rumor has it I'm gonna get my rematch with Justin Wong, the best player in the US when he comes back out to SoCal next month. I expect to get my ass handed to me again, and I'm looking forward to the challenge. I'm also really looking forward to the side fights and bets that will be done. I expect to come home with a decent chunk of change like the last one.
Also, I'm not even gonna get started on how much time I expect to put in on Super Street Fighter 4 when it drops in April. Needless to say, I will have no life.
That's all I got to say about that.
