(no subject)
Not a whole lot going on lately.
Fixed the toilet, got some cleaning implements and chemicals we were still lacking.
Had a few dates and/or pseudo-dates recently though nothing with that particular brand of oomph.
Metatronic was on Saturday, it was pretty cool, though the venue was rather wonky, but it was a warehouse. Definitely heard some interesting shit in both the chill room and the dance area. Saw the start of Ulthulu's set but by then it was 4am and we were needing to jet.
Decided against going to the Joy Zipper show on Sunday, partly because I was still beat from Metatronic the previous evening but mostly due to a lack of female accompaniment.
Mike Doughty is tonight at some joint called the Black Orchid but I'm feeling pretty much the same about it (though I'm open to persuasion). Plus it's $20 bucks... I dunno... it's a question of company I guess, sounds like a pretty date-y venue, but that might just be my attitude.
What else...?
That's about it. Been playing God of War and Rise of the Kasai recently, but I don't much feel like getting into that at the moment.
Oh! I've been getting system updates for my Sidekick so Mapquest works on it now. Now if it would just allow me to update my LJ it will be living up to my minimum expectations...
