My view, certainly, but then I had deep fried sweetcorn for tea last night...

Well ok, what I really had:

Deep fried chopped onion, boiled rice with salt, then put garden peas and sweetcorn in the frying pan, drained off the oil, put the rice in the frying pan, put a bit of oil back in and added a bit of garlic paste.

Was rather nice. Inspired by chat with brokenblossom.

ooh, sounds kind of similar to Hannah's Special RiceTM in which i add boiled rice to marinated tofu pieces, fried onion and soya sauce.

My mate has just postponed his housewarming that was meant to be tomorrow, so I'm no longer busy. If I come round your house for tea can we have special rice and krispy kremes? Good, that's a plan then.

Actually I did add some soy sauce. I'd forgotten that. Did I tell you the other day that I fried onions that I'd marinaded in soy sauce? It was a disaster because I couldn't tell if they were done. Duh.

well, since our gas was switched off this morning we can't actually cook anything, wash ourselves or be warm at the moment. not really a great place for a tea party.

How inconvenient. Perhaps we take over the house of an innocent third party, or perhaps I just stay around Northampton and look at houses like I said I would.
