i have just been woken by the phone ringing at 5am. i would have just ignored it and gone back to sleep, but i've noticed that little brother, who claimed he would be back "quite early so don't lock the door" is not back. i've just called his mobile like a hysterical jewish mother, but there was no reply. i wouldn't be so worried normaly, but he's fallen in with a new crowd who are literally being sugardaddied by a middle aged millionaire. is it wierd for a single man in his 40s to give teenage boys free use of his taxi account, endless bottles of crystal, suites in hotels, offers of convertibles and apartments in new york? i've tried telling my brother that "everything comes at a cost! he'll be wanting payback!" but he thinks it's all so funny. i don't think i'll get back to sleep tonight. grr.
