I don't expect anyone to comment, but I'm gonna let y'all know what's going on anyway.

Yesterday was NOT a good morning. I was driving in to work yesterday, and the battery light came on in my car. I thought that was especially weird, since my car is a 2007. So I called my mom to ask her what she thought I should do, and she told me to stop at my aunt's house so my uncle could take a look at it. Luckily, I didn't pass their freeway exit, so I made my way over to their house. Then, the radio turned off. I hoped and hoped that I would make it there in time without my car completely dying on me, since the radio turned off, and that doesn't take a whole lot of power. By the grace of God, my car turned off completely right as I was rolling in to my aunt and uncle's driveway, and not in the middle of the road or on the freeway. Whew! So my uncle looked at the engine and came to the conclusion that my alternator wasn't charging the battery. Sure enough, with the help of my mom and uncle, I took my car to the dealership and they said that I do need a new alternator. Good thing my car is still under warranty and that I bought the Premium Care Package (the best one I could)! All I have to pay is a $100 deductible, instead of paying $400-$500 to get it fixed.

To kill four birds with one stone, I'm also getting an oil change (two months overdue..), my wheel cover fixed, and the deep scratches on the driver and passenger doors airbrushed out. The wheel cover and scratches are free because it was in the agreement when I bought the car that they would get those fixed free of charge. So now, all I'm going to pay for is the deductible and the oil change. Woohoo!
EDIT I only paid for the oil change. $37.03!

I'm leaving for Italy in less than two weeks! I am so excited to get to know all the people I'm going with and for everything that I will be experiencing.

I just made the best drink... a little bit of Absolut Mandrin, a lot of pineapple juice, and a splash of orange juice. I can barely taste the alcohol!
