Too lazy to ljcut

I finally know when I'm getting my jaw surgery! I'm going to Swedish Medical on August 20 to get the surgery. A couple weeks earlier I will go for my pre-op appointment so the surgeon can take impressions on my teeth and so they can talk to me about the hospital and what to expect. I have to stay overnight at the hospital in Seattle. D: I wonder if my mom is gonna go back home or stay somewhere nearby, since I have to leave the next morning...

For the past week I have been house/dog-sitting for a family who are on vacation in Italy for two weeks. The dog's name is Rufus, and he's probably the smartest dog in the world. He goes and 'makes his mess' on command when outside. Right now he doesn't put any weight on his right back foot because he hurt it a while ago, and the family didn't have time to take care of it because they're so busy. When they get back they're going to take him in so he can have some sort of knee surgery. It's been really nice being the only one in the house, just living by myself, and making my own food (sorta), and just hangin' out. It has its disadvantages... I woke up on Thursday around 5 a.m. with my back screaming at me.. It wasn't a muscle pain, it was deeper, and I couldn't get myself into a position that helped to alleviate the pain. I called my mom at around 6:30 on the verge of tears and she came right over (luckily the house is only a couple miles away from my home) and she brought Vicadin over and that eventually made the pain go away. My mom was still worried (and I was too) so she took me to the ER in Bellevue. The doctor there asked questions, and he said he thinks that it's just a muscle spasm in my upper back between my shoulder blades, and he recommended that I go see my regular doctor. He wants me to get physical and massage therapy. He thinks my back was in pain probably because I was in a different bed.. But I've done that before, and why would it take an entire week for my back to 'spasm' like that? What the heck. Anyway, that was my big adventure of the week. I also got to play with my cousin's (she's 6!) new labradoodle puppy (named Scruffy) after my hospital extravaganza, and then we all went to a really neat shop called glassybaby. They only make the one product, but they come in lots of colors, and they are so pretty when they're lit up; its wonderful. My aunt has probably 20 or so in her house, and they're $40 each. @_@

I did the dumbest thing on Friday. I went to the store, and came out looking for my keys. I soon discovered that they were locked in my car, half sticking out of the ignition. How could I have missed that? They were halfway out of the ignition. Something must have distracted me enough to stop pulling them out. Anyway, when I came back, I had to go back to the store to see if they had any wire hangers I could buy and try to get my keys out. I was half-tempted to get kitchen tongs or a pasta spoon to hook the keys on, but then I realized I could just go and ask the dry cleaner if I could have a hanger. My passenger side window was just open enough that I could reach my forearm in and hook my keys on a bent hanger. So I got my hanger, got my keys, and was driving away ten minutes later. By then I was so hot in my no A/C car and the hot sun, I had to go get an orange cream frappacino from starbucks, and I was on my way to get my oil change in my car. That's a whole other story..

I went and got my oil changed, and the guy told me I needed to take care of some things, but he didn't say anything about doing it right that second. So I go home, and my car started making funny noises, and it was starting to get reaaally hot. By then I was almost home, so I was praying that it just get me home into my driveway. Thank God it did and I didn't have to abandon it on the side of the road. When I got home, I popped the hood and saw that there was no radiator cap, so there was no coolant or water or anything, and that's why my car died. My mom called them today and complained and basically told them to go screw themselves, because they said I declined a service, when all they really needed to do was give my radiator with some water. Dumbass. UGH I AM NEVER GOING TO THAT PLACE AGAIN. If anyone lives near an All Tune and Lube, never go there because they have terrible customer service (if you could call it that). So today I went to the local wrecking yard and got a new radiator cap, and it was free! At least they were nice.

This has become a ridiculously long entry, so I'm gonna go read or go to bed or something.
