I have gotten so much free stuff recently, which is very convenient because I barely have enough money for Jan rent since my work is shut down for a month.

People keep feeding me and giving me food. I had a buffet dinner at work on Thursday and a lovely breakfast party at work (including an hour paid break to attend) on Friday (the last day of work for the semester). At work we had to get rid of all the perishables since we were going to be gone for a month, so I got tons of cheese and meat and veggies and fruit and sushi to take home with me.

On Saturday, I went up to PHX to Charles’ Uncle’s house for the Christmas party for his mom’s side of the family and I was so full I couldn’t do much other than sit down and smile. There was a white elephant gift exchange and we ending up getting:
Monopoly
A bag of candy
A bottle of homemade Tequila from Mexico
I think we made out pretty well. The Tequila is crazy strong though. Charles just took a little sip, not even a whole shot and he said it felt like he got kicked in the gut. One of his cousins was saying she couldn’t keep down a whole shot.

When we got back from the party, around 1am, we went over to my studio because I forgot my microwave there, and because at the end of the day on Saturday, if you don’t take your things home, the become trash. A cleaning crew comes through Sunday morning and throws everything out that people have left there. So charles and I went and gathered up some good stuff, We must have gotten several hundreds of dollars of stuff. I don’t know why people don’t take it home. Here is a partial list of things we picked up:
Rulers and scales
propane torch
multi tool
pens and pencils
pads of paper
x-acto knives
hack saw
glue
plaster
stapler
power strips
3-hole punch
tape
modeling materials like wood and chip board

And I promised pictures of my tongue piercing a while ago, so here they are finally. I have been meaning to scan them for a while. Enjoy
