I think this is a pretty good picture of Charles, he always makes a wierd face for pictures, so it is kind of rare to get one that actually looks like him
This one was just too amusing not to share, hee hee, I think he was coughing or something
On the night before my birthday, which happened to be Saturday, Jessica, Jason, Bart, Kasandra, Magda, Charles and I went out to a bar at around 10pm. At this point I was not going to be 21 for another 2 hours, so I didn’t know if I could get in or not, but we decided to try. Everyone else went through, and then they collectively explained that I was turning 21 in 2 hours while I stood there and smiled at him. At the end of the explanation, he said “ok, I’ll give you a free pass, just don’t drink anything for 2 hours” and let me go in without even looking at my id to see if we were telling the truth!
So we went down into the bar and got a couple pitchers of beer. It tasted really bad (only to me though, everyone else liked it) so Charles bought me a glass of wine on the suggestion of the girls in the party. It was some German wine with a really long name that tasted good. Here are pictures of all the people in the bar with me. You can see Charles in the background of the one with Magda and me, but some how the picture of the two of us didn’t get saved or something. I have more, but they are on my regular camera, so they will come a little later. Now I have a scanner though, so I should actually be posting them. Speaking of, I should post some of my other pictures too…Anyway, here they are…

Last night we threw Magda a surprise birthday party and then went out dancing at a club. It was fun and she seemed to really enjoy herself.
Tonight is my birthday party, should be fun. On Thursday I saw the super cute girl from the airport and invited her to my party, I hope she comes. There are lots of other people that I hope come too, but I have gotten confirmation from most of them that they are going to come. I like hanging out with friends a lot more than doing the stuff I have to, like homework. It is always good to have distractions. Now if only Charles would heal faster (the sun burst a whole bunch of blood vessels in his legs so he is all swollen and can’t really move very well or with out lots of pain).
