some stuff i've been up to
The first purple on Sunday the 5th didn’t take at all. The koolaid on Tuesday the 7th worked better, but really only dyed the tips and made my hair slightly darker. Drew said it didn’t even smell like grape, how disappointing. My hair cut on Thursday the 9th turned out nicely.
But most importantly V and Suzie dyed my hair on Saturday the 11th, and it turned out beautifully. (it was even the topic of discussion for my entire class when we were supposed to be learning work things ha ha) It is a dark plum purple in florescent or indirect light, and a vibrant fuchsia in incandescent and sunlight. It is more red than I wanted, but still awesome. I will post pictures whenever I find someone with a digital camera who is willing to take some pictures of me.
Suzie and I made the down payment on our apartment for next year, Sunday. With Suzie in my home and Brian, Vanessa and Drew literally next door, next year should be amusing if nothing else.
For those of you who think I am too skinny, I calculated my BMI and I am a 19, and that is in the normal weight range, hear that NorMAl WeiGHt, hee hee, so yes, I am NoRmAL… weight wise anyway. Granted, I have lost 10 or 15 lbs, if the scales aren’t lying to me, but I am trying to eat healthier.
Work is going fine. I work for afni which is a call center, so I just answer the phone, and the project I am on is Northeast Care: being a customer service rep for verizon, servicing the retail New York market. Doesn’t seem too bad and I like learning all this stuff about cell phones and contracts ect. It is interesting and useful knowledge.
