My first weekend back was quite exhilarating, but I believe that next week I am going to have to take it easier. My new schedule is now set up to allow me to have a three day weekend. So now I incorporate Thursday nights into the weekend.
Thursday night I got drunk with my roommate and some of the other guys, while watching friends. We really didn’t do anything because everyone had class the next day except me. I was in bed by two. It was an okay night nothing exceptionally cool happened.
Friday night on the other hand I got really drunk (as evidenced by the following story). It was a fun night we all drank together again. I am pretty sure I said some things to people I probably shouldn’t have both in person and via drunken IM’s. I really don’t remember a lot of what happened at the end of the night. I do remember going upstairs but I don’t remember anything until the morning when I woke up in someone else’s bed. Nothing happened but it was like one of those weird movies were you wake up in the morning and are like where the hell am I.
Saturday night started out with the misguided idea that I was not going to get drunk at all. Instead Forrest, Richard and I went and saw “Win a Date with Tad Hamilton”. But once I got back before nine everyone else was getting drinking so I decided I might as well. So I got a bottle of vodka and had a small party in my room. We then went to the open mic night to see Jeff’s band, but when we got there they were already done. So Pete and I decided to break into the moonlights café’s kitchen. I got tongs and Pete got a can of non stick cooking spray. Then a group of more then 30 of us went to Bickfords at 2. On the way back Pete covered Freud with the non stick butter while I kept watch. At about 3 I went back to my room only to find three guys asleep on my floor and my roommate in his bed. I was a little pissed there were all these people in my room without me knowing about it. I finally went to bed around 5 after listening to Neil play the guitar in the Lobby for an hour.
See what I mean about taking it easier next week. I will really have to, seeing as how I should have work to do by then and I will no longer have the first weekend back excuse.
