You can see my not so effective pesky critter control measures. We have the shoddy fence, the sad little twirly thingies, and the blow-up owl. The bunnies laugh in my general direction.
There on the left front we have the watermelons. They've grown a lot in the past two weeks huh? At the back left to right are cucumbers and okra. A little in front of the okra is the broccoli that won't give up, and kind of near the melons is the eggplant. I wish I had put it on the other side of the square, but oh well.
One cucumber is much larger than the others. I wonder why? It is trying to tear down the fence also. Damn agitator cucumber.
Remember how the squash was teeny on May 14th? Just two little leaves? Well that's it yesterday. Look at all those pods...those will be squash soon. yum!
Little green tomatoes! YAY!
The corn is also getting bigger. I think we could have fit more into that square. Next year that is what we'll do. There is some grass in there because this square is totally Ian's responsibility and he isn't a good weeder.
Everything else looks about the same as it did. Still no berries. I think the lettuce is pooping out, and the carrots are doing good, but there is nothing fun to look at going on there.
