sicky icky
So, I'm getting over whatever crud I had. I'm still all snotty, sneasy and coughy...and headachey....
I remembered my Grandmother's birthday, but can't reach her phone because my number isn't listed, and she doesn't accept unblocked calls. I tried with my Houston cell phone, even though the roaming charges are going to kill me, but her phone was busy. Dad and Mom told me her phone lines have been iffy lately, so at least it's not just on my end. I do feel bad, though.
I really am terrible at remembering birthdays.
I'm supposed to be traveling to Houston/Austin this weekend, but Rita may not cooperate. Austin may be out, and it may just be a Houston trip. There is LOG this weekend, but I don't think we'll make it...various logistical issues abound....that and I think camping in the Houston heat and humidity might kill me now that I'm acclimating to Calgary.
Ah well...what's a girl to do...
