Bristow Goes

Dec 21, 2005 18:42

Bristow's office is empty. Janine's desk has been cleared out. Even Marshall's swingin' geek pad is back to looking like a nuclear fallout shelter.

There's no sign any of them have ever been there, except for a sign, posted on the front door of the school building:

"Have a safe, regret-free life. - JB"

Thank you. All of you. The last three months have been exciting, full of wackiness, occasionally stressful and harrowing, but overall some of the best times I've ever had being other people. When I joined this game, it was fully my intention to hang around as 6, perhaps pick up a few other characters, and then see how things went.

That's not what happened, of course. I joined administration, and I don't regret a second of it. This game has been entirely awesome, with some events/plots that have just absorbed three months of my life. That's not a bad thing. I think.

I'm going to miss this game. I am. And I wish the new administration the best in the coming months. This new term is going to be really excellent, I just feel it. I'll be poking my head in to read -- so make it good, dammit.

There's too many people to thank for this experience, but know that I am overwhelmed by the creative minds on display here. We have brilliant, brilliant people in this game, and I expect you to go on to bigger, brighter things.

I do have to give a special thank you to the folks in The Pageant. That really summed up what Fandom High is to me, and I had such a fantastic time watching both the show and the audience's reaction to it. Thank you all for bringing my artistic vision to delicious ridicule!

Now. Before I get too emotional in an unmanly way, I bid you and this game a fond farewell. I think I'm safe to borrow another phrase from The Tick -- Spoon!
