EAS

Because I was bored I decided to have a bit of a look at the EAS livejournal. Colour me surprised to find my name crop up in a thread. It seems like myself and Jenny are named as those responsible for making the club "what it is now" - which apparently (according to what I was reading) is a group for the sceptics, atheists, druggies, social butterflies, and sluts. I joined EAS when Jenny was president and at that time it was a spiritual club. When Jenny graduated and I took over it was still a spiritual club. I know that Jenny was very much into the spiritual aspect, and so was I (at the time). We were also into the social aspect because after all, people aren't going to join if you aren't nice to them. Jenny made it a friendly club, a place where you could both meet new people as well as learn something. Because that's the kind of person she is. I on the other hand am not the easiest person to get along with and I did the best I could. Speaking for myself, when I was president of EAS I was still into the whole pagan thing and wanted to learn more about it all with people who shared the same interests. I haven't been involved in EAS now for 2 years (and Jenny for longer) and I hardly think it's fair to name us as being in any way responsible for what has happened to EAS.

I was going to post this to the EAS LJ but decided against it. Instead I'll just post unlocked.
