Greetings from Whistler!
as much as i LOVE the city, i'm so happy to be out and taking a little break up in Whistler... today i picked my sis and bro up from school and drove up. the weather was so nice coming up, it made the scenic drive so beautiful! not like i could really see it or anything because i was the one driving... but i could see some of the light blue sky with streaks of clouds and then--going higher--bright snow covering some of the mountains! ahh, so pretty! i can't wait to go up in the summertime with friends... *HintHint*
after dinner, we watched 2 movies tonight: Bollywood/Hollywood and Fever Pitch. both weren't that bad. the first one is a Canadian film and we weren't really paying full attention to it in the beginning b/c dishes were being done and so forth... but in the end, it was cute and had some good funny parts to it. it had this half white/Indian actress who i saw in this GREAT film, Water (which, actually, i think on IMDb.com it said is opening in the States next week! so seriously, go wtach it! it's soooo good!). her name is Lisa Ray. such a fantastic, amazing actress. sooo pretty. Fever Pitch wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. Jimmy Fallon can be a bit crazy but he had good moments in it... and Drew Barrymore is always cool. this was a slightly different kind of role for her. she usually plays the quirky, less-popular character... but this time she was like successful business woman and it actually suited her quite well. so it was cute. the story worked nicely. it's all about them and Boston Red Sox and baseball b/c Jimmy Fallon's character is like obsessed with them and i'm like, eh, baseball.
tomorrow on the agenda is brunch, snowboarding, dinner, then... watch the hockey game? maybe another movie... we'll see. i just hope i don't get TOO sore from boarding b/c i haven't done it--or any extreme exercise--in a long time! it should be fun tho! woo hoo! pray i don't break anything or run off into any tress or bushes...
umm i think that's all. everyone's sleeping right now. i turned on my aunt/uncle's laptop b/c i was the one who ended up showering last and i had to wash my hair so i'm letting it air-dry for a bit before i blow-dry it and go to sleep... i wanna watch TV, but they're sleeping in the living room...
i should've added more songs to my Creative. i only have half my songs. ugh! so much work to re-upload everything onto that thing. it takes forever! ah well... maybe i'll listen to some music and create a playlist while i go to sleep...
i think i've wasted enough time for now... i'm afraid of using the blow-dryer now though b/c it's so late and people might wake up! hmm... and i AM going boarding tomorrow so my hair's gonna be crap anyways... but i don't wanna sleep with it wet... darn.
