i can't believe it. it did it again!
i was simply relaxing [and procrastinating going to bed], watching some good ol' Simpsons on the tube, when suddenly--it shuts off. again! we just got our TV fixed not more than 2-3 days ago, and it's dead yet again! back to records and tapes... *sighs* i was already in an okay mood, and that just ticked me off! so i seek refuge here on the computer, though it is not my own. i need to past the time until i can't keep my eyes open. i don't wanna sleep. not now. okay, maybe it's the fact that i don't wanna shower b/c my parents wouldn't let me wash in their bathroom [as i always do] b/c my mom needs to get up early for work. like i haven't washed late and she had to get up early before! sheesh. anyways, luckily i had the opportunity to take my stuff out but i was lazy and didn't wanna wash yet and lookie here, whaddiya know, it just so happens to be so late that it'll be my excuse to not shower tonight, knowing it will wake or keep people up. yes, i'm dirty girl. i'm joining the club. lol
i got a text msg from Carlee tonight. that made me feel better. i always like hearing from her b/c it simply makes me happy. i wanna take a short trip and visit her this summer! yeah, why not? i should look into that...
work was alright. busy, actually. blah blah blah...
yesterday i sent my headshot/resume/cover letter to 3 additional agencies. i hope i hear something from the 7 i've sent altogether! i'm nearing the 2-week curtosy call for the first 4 that i'd sent earlier. why oh why can't they just call me??
that's the story of my life the past couple of weeks... or, i should say, that's the theme song of my life. "Hooow come yoou don't caaall mee, anymooooooore"
oh! ice cream update! no, literally... ;) i was gonna whoop it one last time before i went to bed on Monday night, but i was already lying and bed and didn't wanna bother getting up and going thru that whole process processing. i figured that the 2 times that i've done it was sufficient enough, so i let it be. bad decision. i tried it the next day and, as Nigella had warned if you didn't whip, ice crystals will form. well, now i have creamy, sweet-tasting vanilla ice cream that's a big icy. sorta like freezer burn on ice cream, but in it, ya know? well, it's not bad for my first time... maybe if i look some more there's an ice cream flavour that doesn't require a $7 vanilla bean... let's hope...
