Sewing room
My husband declared that we needed to be a two-income household, so I've decided to sew for a living! Start-up funds are limited so I've decided to stick with my old reliable Singer and invest only in a mid-priced serger. Oh and to do up the basement into a sewing room/office. That was more than a month ago...as of now, the sewing room is still only a third finished - still awaiting electrician to put in a much needed electricity outlet (whoever heard of a basement with no outlet?!!!) and the carpet guy to cover the bare concrete floor. Meanwhile, I've got 10 orders to fill and friends asking when I will be fully up and running... Excitement has taken a back seat to Frustration...until the bloody room becomes fully functional!!!
