Just another day in paradise....
I love fall. Out of all of the seasons it is my favorite. I look forward to it from the minute it ends until it begins again. I love the crispness in the air, the colors of the leaves, the last of the harvest time. I could never leave Michigan, I could not live somewhere that did not have fall.
Beautiful day today! I brought the season into the house and spent the day outside in the process. Deb came over and we made grapevine and bittersweet wreaths, swags and dream catchers. Something about spending time with her is so peaceful and always makes me so introspective. I am fortunate to have such a friend. I wish that every day could be as beautiful as today.
Deb brought lots of pictures of Trini and the baby. He is so small, and so precious. In every picture I am struck by the change I see in Trini's expression, a softening. It is hard to explain but I can see that motherhood is everything to her right now.
I am finally going to get a vacation. Rick, Deb and I are renting a house in Leland for a weekend...and Dan will meet us there when he gets done with a medical convention in TC. Finally........a vacation......no kids, animals or responsibilities. I may not come home!
