Parental Guidance: Explicit Cellos

The boy, he is gone home. The girl, she is sad. Also vodka.

We had a good time until dad decided it was too much effort to be aloof, dismissive and plain rude for another two days and Put His Foot Down and told me Gabriel had to go. Then he Changed His Mind when it was too late to change Gabriel's travelling plans. Dad is now in Guilt Mode, hence ( Read more... )

> What's everyone planning to do?

Well I can't speak for your housemates, but I'm planning to relocate to back between your arms as soon as lizardly possible.

I was sad not to be able to see you last night and meet Gabriel, the situation must be rectified at the earliest convenient oppertunity. I hope you two had a good night though despite the misfortune.

I apologise if there is any totally illogical grammar or poor spelling above. I'm rather tired and my brain is shutting down. However I did spot that I wrote "too" instead of "two" in the last sentence of the previous paragraph [now corrected]. I really shouldn't be on here if I'm making mistakes like that.

I'm sure you'll meet us another time. I hear Tidelands was peculiar, and not always in the good way.

Brilliant icon, by the way.

Yes, in all honesty I found it rather creepy - and definately not the good creepy. But judging by the imdb.com page many people absolutely love it so I guess you really should see it at some point!

Ah yes, I love the icon too. Have to love Father Ted!

Friday the first is the official designated Day of Moving; Kirsty is bringing the basics, I have practically everything I need at my nan's round the corner, and I haven't heard anything from Sophie. I've tried getting in touch with the Radish a couple of days ago and got some info on bills and such, which I've whopped up on my LJ, so anything else you need to know... :)

...Aside from the time we can get there to move in, because of course Radish hasn't rung me back to tell me. Oh no, because that would imply organisation. *grumbles*

We could stage one of those camp out until we're allowed in things, like people do to get new Harry Potter books or a decent place at Party in the Park and suchlike! You bring some firewood, I'll grab some music and we can wait on the front path until she arrives.

Dad's getting into Organisation Mode. I can't even remember if I had a double or a single bed in my room. Actually...I can't remember what my room looked like. I didn't see it properly.

As long as I have internet and pretties on the wall, I shall survive.

*mumble* A double bed might help...

Oooh, driving a tank over Sue sounds fun. Can I help?

I'll be going to Radishplayground on Friday, not sure when as yet. Staying Friday and Saturday night; probably Sunday too. Not sure when I'm actually moving stuff in though... depends on when males are about to do drivage. How's about you?

I have no idea what's happening. Dad is bringing some of my stuff up on Friday, but we don't yet know what time becuase Radish is yet to tell anyone. Do we yet know what time?

I'm actually really nervous. :/

I haven't heard anything more - passed the unfortunate Radishphoning buck to the brave Sir Boots, since I'm actually quite terrified of phones if I have to think about using one.

Don't be nervous! I'll talk to her when it's face-to-rootvegetable, it'll be fine.

And my dad said we can have his old percolator - constant coffee!

Constant coffee, you say?!

Suddenly all is well with the world.

My dad said he'll pay for the TV license, so that's one less thing to worry about.
