This is Simon posting for Dan. He is unable to get to a computer at the moment, so he gave me his sign on.
First things first, him and his family are all ok. He should have full battery right now for his cell phone. If not, call this number for his hotel. He should be there for 2 more nights. 203-379-5048 room 232
For all of you out there, Dan got a very rude awakening when he got a call from his mom during work. His house caught on fire at 6 in the morning today. His room, his brothers room, the hallway and the bathroom got the majority of the damage. He lost everything in his room. His sister's room got heat and smoke damage, and the rest of the house got smoke and water damage.
There are several gaping holes in his roof at the moment. I don't know how much more I can say without treading into his privacy. But Dan's room is nothing but ashes at the moment, literally. We think the fire was electrical.
His friends and his family friends have been helping him greatly, just remember him in your prayers and help whatever way you can. It is the christmas season after all.
