A intresting thing transpired today at work.
One of my stops in the Stamford area is WWE. yea, World Wrestling Entertainment. I stock both their main headquarters and their production office. anyways...i went in and noticed they were doing a tour of the production place. and what i did was fucking incredible.
I went upstairs to stock a Coke machine and asked a random guy walking guy about editing. The guy then brought me downt to speak to a guy named Scott. This actually turned out to be the guy in which i spoke to a month earlier about an effect i was trying to do in After Effects.
Case in point...not only does this guy want to see the most recent VEW i worked on...he wants me to do some freelance editing for WWE's Wrestlemania box set they are working on this summer removing old logos with a blur effect.
An hours' drive to Stamford...it may suck...but the opportunity to do work for WWE and possibly get my foot in the door....so fucking worth it!
