i totally screwed the pooch on the haikus, some got written, some didn't. some dissolved into nights with BACs well above .20. ahh...good times.
i was actually quite grateful to be done with the trip when i was. it was time to settle somewhere for a bit, and time to stop driving alone.
oh yeah, that was a cheesy metaphor.
