Okay, so I'm lame for waiting until the morning after, but my brain works again now, so it's for the best.

Friday night Requiem was enjoyable - being a part of the Carthian stuff actually felt good - if they'd have been that unified when DC checked them out, his path might well have been different.

I think the timeslot for Mortals actually helped the game - the "creature" certainly wouldn't have worked quite so well in the midday sun, if nothing else! And how do I always get into crazy conversations about stuff that I have idea about?

Saturday was my first game of Forsaken, my first real NPC role, and a whole load of fun to boot. How hard do you think it would be to get a bunch of savage werewolves to kill you? You should try it sometime!

Lost next, and the Carnival. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much, but as soon as the Ringmaster asked me to find a team to oppose the Summer Court death squad, I had a great time creating a team, changing the rules and ensuring a victory.

More Requiem, and was shat upon, ignored and deceived (not all at the same time, of course). I guess I am disappointed to have completely missed the entire plot of the evening because of it all, but the conversation with Susie made up for some of it, even if it'll now probably kill me...

Saturday finished with the best NPC role ever made. My brief: "You're an old man in a coma. Lie over there, go to sleep if you want". I feel strangely cheeky about claiming prestige for that :-) It did mean that I managed to get enough sleep to survive Sunday, because otherwise, I'd probably have wound up with the York all-night crew, and that would have been bad.

Sunday's Lost probably had to be the weak link in the weekend (NB: for me, not in general). A game where the two main themes are "combat" and "social interaction" really doesn't suit Chip. And when the Spring Court disappeared as well, I ran out of people to insult...

Lastly, Mage. Still a young character, but gaining popularity within me. I just wish I could play more often, as with my memory, I sometimes can't remember conversations I've had in the past, considering the last one was 3 months ago.

So, in all, a damn good event, seamlessly put together.

The Scottish has got a lot to live up to!
