Moving is EXHAUSTING. I took some stuff over yesterday day lunch and then went after work to Santa Monica to buy an IKEA cd rack (that matches my other 3) for $12. Then had to fight the traffic on the 10 East home. Finally got home at 8:00, ordered in Thai, watched Dancing with the Stars and packed some more. I've gotten most of my tchotchke packed

indeed! Someone else will have to use the nook to its full advantage now. I hope the new tenants have friends cozying up in there, too!

THIS was about 4 years ago, right after the nook was painted. Over the years, it became even cozier with more pillows and a Johnny Cash print.

Right now it looks very sad, since I've removed all the pillows and there are boxes piled in there!

Aww, I love the nook. What a great idea! If I ever build a house, I think I will include a nook, or at least a window seat.
