2006 In Review

1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Get engaged. Buy a wedding dress (yes, it IS bought). Plan a wedding. Wear a ring on my left ring finger. (Pattern much?) Oh! Got a 4.0 GPA! Went to grad school. Watched Battlestar Galactica. And Heroes.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I have lost 8 lbs. I don't think that was a resolution, but it happened. :o)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, but Sarah (from work, not Seider) is gonna this year!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Gramma Wall
5. What countries did you visit?
Canada... always Canada... I'll visit others eventually.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
The ability to run. The ability to be more flexible.
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 14, 15, 21, 22 - Cinderella performances
August 21st - When Andrew proposed
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting engaged. And getting a 4.0 GPA. And performing in a musical!
9. What was your biggest failure?

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Sides from the minor cold? Naw.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
YARN AND KNITTING/CROCHETTING SUPPLIES.

Andrew & David Lu!!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Crapface the other day for changing her phone number and forgetting to tell me. Okay, that didn't really make me appalled and depressed, but I DID think she was dead. Which sucks.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Grad school. Credit cards. Student loans.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Getting engaged and all the hubub that goes with planning a wedding!

i. Happier or sadder? I'd say about the same. Maybe a bit happier.
ii. Thinner or fatter? THINNER! I WIN!
iii. Richer or poorer? Richer. Deferring student loans roolz.

Getting OUT of Horsham and going somewhere.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Moping and whining.
20. How did you spend Christmas/Hannukah/etc.?
In my jammies until 1:30. :o)

Dawn threw up on me?

Been in, done that. ;o)

Oh, only four jillion *eyeroll*

Battlestar Galactica, Boston Legal, Desperate Housewives, The Dog Whisperer, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, House, Project Runway, Top Chef, Ugly Betty. All of which are Must Watches.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hating is for losers.
26. What was the best book you read?
Reading. What did I read this year? Um. Uh. Hm. I read a Wrinkle in Time, but there had to have been something else... Oh well. I'll think of it eventually.

28. What did you want and get?
Flowers. To be engaged.
29. What did you want and not get?
A ZEN ALARM CLOCK. (Like, seriously. I ask a jillion times, and my big present is a toothbrush? I mean, sonic and all but still. ) And a sewing machine. For the fat to all disappear.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Oh man, I'm seriously blanking on what I saw/read/listened to this year. I suck.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I went to work and got the prettiest bouquet of flowers ever from Andrew. I turned 23.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More pineapple.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Lazy.
34. What kept you sane?
Maggie Mae. David Lu!! Knitting. Andrew sometimes, but he also causes insanity... does that mean it cancels out?
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Masi Oka... Oh wait, that's DL!! ;o)
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
BLUE SENATE! W00T!!
37. Who did you miss?
Andrew, Wahboot, Sarah, Crapface, Katie Genaw (but I saw her yesterday, huzzah!)

I'd have to go with Anthony from work. Because he's a riot.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006.
It's good to let go of the past and move on to the future. It feels nice.
