Senator Savino:

I must thank you from the bottom of my heart, from somewhere in Texas, for the wonderful presentation you gave during yesterday's vote. It made me smile and it warmed my heart, despite the man behind you who left shortly after you began, to hear such a well-spoken, and boiled down to the simple facts, argument concerning the government's role in administering and not judging.

Please keep fighting for the truth -- without equality for all, our country is a lie.

I'd love to have a drink with you at The Duplex the next time I'm in town visiting family.

Season's Greetings, and thank you once again!

Senator Hassell-Thompson:

I must thank you from the bottom of my heart, from somewhere in Texas, for the wonderful presentation you gave during yesterday's vote. You brought me to tears with your open emotions and honesty.

The courage you embraced in owning the leadership your constituents asked you for, despite the lobbying you were presented in contrary, despite your personal upbringing and internal conflicts it caused you over the years, was nothing short of powerful. You come across as a very well-spoken person, who thinks with both her heart and head, and can see the bigger pictures at hand. I would openly embrace having you represent me, as a constituent and a human being, given the opportunity.

Again, I commend and thank you for your fight. Please keep fighting for the truth -- without equality for all, our country is a lie.
