no ticky, no pie
so, it seems I never did mention the pie contest..
A few months back we had our Christmas Catalog launch party. Always a big deal here, woo! One of the activities they had planned was a pie eating contest. I've always been keen on trying one of those things, as they seem like such a good time waiting to happen.
Ever curious, I asked my manager for details, specifically, "what kind of pie?"
His response: I'm not sure. Not what you're hoping for.. (pause)... no hair pie...
