Chapter 1
Seungri Teenage POV
Because the work of parents, we were forced to move. This is the second time we moved I recall.
It’s very tiring to adjust to the new place that we did not know and start from zero again.
Mom and Dad assured me that the world is very big so you could not see the fun before you start to enjoy it and you will not know until you try. Perhaps because I am a teenager and just starting my puberty season as my mother said, my confidence is not there yet to try some new things.
"Try and learn the fun" My mom said to adjust the tiny new place surround me. With my heavy uninterested thoughts, I follow and obey my my parent words. I'm an only child so I don’t want to disappoint my parent.
I am still teenagers at the aged 13 so I am kind a scare to disobey them. I do not believe when my mom said that I am on the peak of my puberty because my voice sounds okay as usual or perhaps my mom makes it sound like real. Maybe my mom just wants me to take it easy.
“I wonder how the new school style in Seoul. I think it would it be more interesting if you find out by yourselves” My mom led me to school likes always, instead I feels a little bit shame because this is my first school in the new school and I am delivered by my mom when the others don’t.
"Do not forget to eat your food that I prepare specially for you this morning. Mom will pick you up later after the end of the school. Go directly to the principal's office and take this letter with you. The principal must have known everything about you since we talked yesterday” My mom gives me her warm smile as I took the paper slowly and hesitantly. I walk out from the car and I try to be brave to conquer the new school.
"Seungri, mom loves you!!!" With my mom strong yelled voice came out from the car as I pretend not to look back.
Aish... I knew it could be happen to me as my mom maternal behavior never changes since I remember.
I walk slowly and pretending my mom scream from the car is not actually my mom. I act to be cool as soon as I heard my mom car pass by then quickly my step into the gate of the school. It seems likes a lot of people heard my my yelling loves me but I don’t care because I don’t want to look really bad on my first day. I just walk fast direct to the entry of the school without looking at the others student. I walk in and I see the school is big and seriously I don’t know where to go to the principal's office since I am new. I need to ask someone but I am to shy to ask because I am new and what happen earlier add more hesitate for me to ask. I am standing not far from the gate as the students walk in passing by one by one.
"Hey, mama's boy" The boy call me out of nowhere as I pretend not to hear anything.
"Are you the new student?" He stares at me when I try to look at the person.
"Yes, I am new at here so where the principal's office?" I answer the question short and to the point because I really not comfortable with him because he calls me mama’s boy and I don’t like it.
"Fine, listen carefully. Go straight from here and then turn right. After that go up to the first floor by stairs and then go straight again. There you can see the sign of the principal's office" He says it by point the direction to me too quickly as absorb the clue.
I think I recorded all his words. "Thank you" the only thing I could say as I appreciate his help.
He just smiles to me but... "Mama's boy look helpless" he sighs out of the blue.
It’s get me irritating but I should not be angry just because he said I am a mama's boy because I am.
Think positive because he is the first person to show me the way to the principal's office. I smile back to him.
"Thanks" I say it as I walk away quickly from him. I don’t even bother to ask his name because honestly I don’t care.
I follow all the directions that he gives me just now but I can’t find any principal's office near by the first floor.
I am standing in front of the school library as I hears the bell school start to ring. The very first day of my new school, I got trickery like a fool. Damn it all... I sigh hard on the thoughts of spending my junior high school will be like. The librarian who eventually brought me to the principal's office after I spending my whine time in front the school library.
I stand inside the principal’s office and handed the letter that my mom order me to. It’s not takes a long time to wait and the principal call the teacher to take me to my new class. I follow the teacher from behind as I become worrier to face the others student.
"Children, we have new student moving from japan international school, please introduce yourself" The teacher point me to the class as I must to introduce myself clearly.
"Hi, my name is Seungri. Nice to meet you all" My voice doesn’t tremble as I say it firmly and bow to them.
"Okay Seungri. You can sit in the back of the row 5. Children, we can continue the class now!" The teacher only points me the place by his hand and mostly the student grumble about my presence.
As the teacher say, the back row is empty and I quickly seat on the back seat. Someone is sleeping during the class as I can see from my right side next to me my seat. I have a good seat compare the past because I can see the outside of the class from my left side. My seat is closely to the window of the class. I become feeling happy and satisfy a little after eventually I start the new school. The happy feeling gone until that little voice like a whisper comes to annoy my day.
"Mama's boy” First I thought that it could be possible my hallucinations and then...
"Mama's boy" I start looking for the voice as I turn my face to the student who was apparently sleeping next to my seat.
"You!" That boy. The boy who tricky me like he knew that I will be in his class.
"Welcome to the school" He smiles innocently forgetting his fault this morning. Such a annoying person! But since we are still studying in class so I must to keep my voice low.
I ignore him for the whole class and then the school bell rang for the break. I walk out of the class with my lunch box in my hand. Some of student gets acquainted with me but I don’t see him. I start looking at the atmosphere of the school until I was hit by someone.
"Ah...." I sigh because it hurt my back as I fell to the floor. I think someone hit me from behind.
"Sorry, sorry" He say he does not intentionally hit me as he turn face to face with me.
Damn... Why You? Why you again?
"We have not acquaintance yet so don’t be angry. It some kind of our school greetings. I am Jiyong and you? Oh, I forgot, mama's boy" His laugh face look so awkward as he held out his hand to reach mine.
"I think you are outrageous so far. Your school trend of greetings the new student is fine but do not be nosy!" I hold to much my anger since the morning and the mama’s boy words make me more annoying to disgrace him.
"What do you want? Okay, I'm new and Mama's boy, what do you want?" I say this to piss him off as I acknowledge everything about mama’s boy thing not as bad as the sound.
"Don’t be angry mama's boy otherwise your mom will be sad. Come on my friend, let’s go to eat our lunch" He puts his arm around my shoulder and drag me away.
The person makes me so annoying from the very first time. He looks boastful, pretentious close, quasi-familiar. That is all I know Jiyong on my first day of school after I spend one day at my new school and I thought my mom lie to me about try the new fun of life.
