Aww. That was a very touching and original story. Although Alex seemed just a little bit more caring than he normally is I like him that way. And the way how his recent injury was still realistically sensitive and weakening was much appreciated as well.

Well, I was getting a tad tired of writing only angst!Alex and suicidal!Alex, so I figured I'd throw in some more hero!Alex. Guess I carried it a bit far, eh? ^_^

And, yay for nonphantom injuries, right? It always annoys me when they suddenly disappear for no good reason. He was just shot, it's not going to disappear with just a few weeks of physical therapy.

I really enjoyed this - even though this wasn't a mission, it was nice to see him still out there catching the 'bad' guys.

I think that Alex has always helped people. A good example of that is the bullies that were bothering Tom that Alex took care of. I think it's how Ian raised him, and also, well in his blood.

Just now he's upgraded a bit to kidnappings and mass murderers rather than just schoolyard bullies. lol.

I liked this, which is surprising as it's not normally the type of fic I'd enjoy. The adventure is fun, but what makes this fic so good is your very realistic and believable portrayal of Alex. He's sensitive and beautiful here (and I don't mean physically beautiful, but more morally - although we all know he's physically beautiful too!!) and driven by all the right intentions.

I get the feeling that this is the kind of person Alex would have been with or without MI6 governing his life.

I love it!!! It was adventerous without including MI6 and perfectly realistic; much more so than Ark Angel. I have to disagree with my sister on the fact that Alex's care for small family was perfectly characteristic.
