So I am now the father of a school child! Yeah bay bee! She seems to be adjusting slowly but surely. She's very much my daughter in that she seems to get along with older people better than children her age. Apparently she sees them as simplistic as she is used to full on conversations.
She does have a problem with acceptance though. We've puzzled over it for a bit and I can't figure out why she gets upset when people don't acknowledge her as a leader or just as a person. You know how kids are, they run off without provocation, my child seems to take this as a slight. Weirdo, oh well she'll get over it, I hope, it's just odd to me as I was always outgoing and popular, but my wife says she was pretty much the same as my kiddo so I won't worry too much.
She has a penchant for crabby patties (aka burgers). She likes to order her own stuff when we got out to eat, you can find the parents when she orders a crabby patty with cheese, lettuce, and ketchup, and they actually know what she's talking about. She's also finally branched out and started eating New Mexican food, yay tacos, beans, and chile con queso! Soon she will be shooting up with green chile like the rest of us.
Nothing else really, just kind of an update type deal really, right? Until next time.
