It's hard to imagine that people who started college after I graduated are even now preparing to finish up school. It's hard to believe that the 22 year olds at work were freshmen when I was a senior. It's hard to believe I've been doing this job for almost 4 years now. Or that I've owned my own home for two years. Time flies far faster when every day is the same than it ever did in college, and at the time, college felt like it moved at a break-neck pace. How could January be half over? How did that happen? I'm not ready for it to be February yet because there are too many things going on in February that I haven't prepared for yet. I guess I better get on that.
There are definitely times that I wish more of life moved like last night. I watched the Avs game, played with my scrapbooking stuff a little, went to the grocery store, watched some Family Guy, and went to bed at a decent hour. Those evenings are rare.
There's a home and garden show this weekend. I would kind of like to go, but that would mean scheduling my weekend and right now I'm really adverse to scheduling my time. I'm tired of always having to be somewhere.
Oh, and it's ass-cold outside. Bleh. I about froze walking into work. They said it's -12 with the wind chill or something ridiculous like that.
