(camp) push

It started when Kanon cheerfully pointed up at a bunch of mistletoe before cornering Joshua against a wall, having to press his way up to reach the apostle for a kiss. It was chaste by all accounts, because Kanon didn't want to think what would happen if Joshua realized the tuner's tongue was in his mouth. Kanon stepped back gracefully as Joshua pushed him away, wiping his mouth with his sleeve with a quiet smirk. He knew better than to question the lack of violence.

-

Kanon would make a sly comment, something slightly invasive but casual enough to be forgotten easily. Joshua would naturally turn his head to the side and give one of his low, tired glares. But it never worked so well when the receiver was perched on your shoulder, other hand busy with your tie. Joshua shrugged him off, but let Kanon resume his post in a few minutes.

-

The absolute rule was that he could not sleep in Joshua's bed. Kanon didn't mind, since he oddly enough was uncomfortable with cuddling in his sleep. And there was little point in trying to get a rise out of Joshua while he was sleeping. (He was cranky when woken up, after all, and the wall didn't need another hole.) So, Kanon would let his hands rove while Joshua was reading Gatsby, being slapped away with every turn of the page. And every three hundred and thirty-two seconds it took for Joshua to finish two pages, Kanon's hands would raise a little bit higher.

Joshua never set the book aside, but Kanon grinned as he saw a blush start to rise while Joshua sank into his bed a little more.

-

"Stop it," said Joshua, annoyed. Kanon continued humming some unknowable tune.

Joshua started to frown and looked off at the lake, trying to ignore the tuner. Kanon nodded his head in silent rhythm or agreement.

It took a moment, but a quietly shocked sound escaped Joshua. "They really can do that?" he asked, half-horrified. Kanon opened his eyes and they flashed for a moment, the predatory grin managed to hide behind the hand he was resting his head in.

Joshua was shell-shocked but quiet as he looked down at the porch. Kanon resumed his humming.

"--Hey! Stop it!"

-

The bark of the tree scrapped his back uncomfortably even through two shirts, but Kanon noted cheerfully that Joshua tasted of black coffee and cinnamon. Kanon let his grin press into Joshua, showing his amusement at the others inexperience, fumbling as Kanon deepened the kiss. He counted in his head. One. . . Two. . .

Joshua stepped away with a frown that looked like a pout and stormed off. Kanon laced his finger behind his head, laughing to himself as he remembered what argument had led to that.

Perhaps, Joshua could stand to hear he was like a child a few times more. Inexperienced would have to slip in too.
