huh...
Today was supposed to be a Productive Day (aren't all days supposed to be...?). Instead, it turned out to be an Insane Amounts of Sleep Day. Seriously, I think I slept 16-18 hours, or something like that... I didn't even know I was capable of that kind of sleep...*shakes head in amusement*
It does, however, mean that the percentage of time awake spent being productive was pretty good... XD XD Worked out, did laundry, drew up those kayaks I'd promised my aunt, found my eyedrops (!!! yay! totally the best thing that happened today. been looking for them for AGES)...
Now, if I can just manage to write a few days' worth of advent calendar fic, I'll be VERY pleased with today. *nods*
Day 04 - Favorite book of your favorite series: TRICKY!!! I think either Monstrous Regiment, Going Postal or The Truth... hmm, hmm, hmm... I shall go with Monstrous Regiment, although it pains me to choose...
Day 04 - Favorite volume of your favorite manga series: volume 11. Mostly for the shallow reasoning that it's got a TON of cute/hot scenes of Ren (blushing scene, shower scene, happy-in-love-smile scene...), but also because Ogata's adorable in it, Shou's hilarious, Lory is cracky as hell, and Kyouko is hilarious as Bou, but also sooo adorable at the end... And it's the volume where Ren realizes he's in love/falls in love for real, so it's a big plot point volume, too.
Day 05 - A book that makes you happy: The Highwayman - R.A. Salvatore. It's not the most awesome book out there, and it's a really quick read, but it's cute and funny and totally just a feel-good story. If I need some brainless cheering up, this is definitely what I go for
Day 05 - A manga that makes you happy: argh, it's so hard to pick just ONE! Café Latte Rhapsody, by Kawai Touko. It's just so adorable. Both Seri-san and Keito are such awesome characters, and theirs is such a warm, fuzzy relationship. Plus, it's possibly the ONLY manga to ever do a somewhat realistic rendition of a non-native Japanese speaker speaking Japanese...
