niravive suggested QuincyxLeo drabble to get my writing jive back. Because they're one of my few pairings who write themselves. XD;;
um, hope they make sense without explanation?
The upside of going to the beach with Leo was seeing him in swim trunks. Dripping wet. It did bad, bad things to Quincy's mind. Or good, good things, depending on your point of view.
Put simply, a wet, half-naked Leo almost made the nearby porta-johns a tempting alternative for privacy.
The downside of going to the beach with Leo was the serious amount of mischief he could come up with, supplied with that much sand and water. Judging by his grin, it seemed that idea had occurred to Leo as well.
"Don't you dare," Quincy warned, as Leo waded closer, arms held in the suspicious position of straight ahead and just below the water surface. "Seriously, I'm wearing contacts, don't you dare."
"Don't worry," Leo grinned. "If you lose one, just lean on me and I'll guide you home."
If Quincy hadn't been too busy backing up, he would've commented on the fact that Leo was using his Tone again, and thus, in some crazy way, making even that innocent statement seem loaded with innuendo.
"Can't we just skip the me-losing-expensive-contacts part, and go straight for the guiding thing, though?" he suggested, still backing away, trying to keep an eye out for kids, so he wouldn't accidentally step on one, or something.
Leo pouted. "But that wouldn't be as fun!" He paused, to consider that. "Well, I guess it kinda would, but you get my point."
"Uh, no, I'm sure I don't," Quincy shot back, hoping to distract Leo for long enough for him to forget his plan of splashing Quincy with horribly salty sea water.
"The point," Leo grinned, "is that you're not wet enough."
Quincy opened his mouth to protest that that argument would've worked better if he was a girl, and immediately regretted it when the wave Leo sent his way hit his face. Cursing, he tried to spit out the awful taste, promising Dire Consequences.
Pity Leo would probably enjoy them muchly.
