I'm okay with Kat; I had a Kat on my flist on my old LJ, but we kinda drifted apart after I fell into all this Azn.. so I was in need of a new one. ^^

^_^ Everyone needs a Kat in their life - lol. I've sometimes thought I should change my online name from LadySaotome (from way back when I first discovered anime & was obsessed with Ranma 1/2) to Neko-chan!

I've never really gotten into anime... I think the last (maybe first?) anime I watched was Vampire Knight, it was hot but I couldn't get into it the way I did with live action shows... which is kinda odd, since I can still watch cartoons. Hm.

I discovered anime years before I found dramas. I'd much rather watch dramas, too. Or read manga.

Right, anime was popular way before... and they used to show dubbed versions of shows like Sailor Moon and Cardcaptors and stuff... But as always, they stopped showing them. They don't show good kid stuff at all on TV anymore, meh. I'm not sure how much I'd like manga, but I probably would.. I've sorta red parts of one... but they're waaay too expensive to buy, and I don't really feel like reading 'em on a screen.

One of the main reasons I do so little anime now is the price is so high. I'm an avid reader, though, so manga's comparably cheaper. Although I read a lot less now that I've discovered dramas. I only still follow certain manga that I was already into or by authors (mangaka's) I love.

The anime they showed on tv was always cut & altered, too. We watched Kenshin on Cartoon Network & the violence/blood was cut almost completely. And I never watched Sailor Moon but I've heard two characters were lovers & they changed it in the American dubs.

The price of anime? But, free online... Yeah, LOL, dramas sure do steal you away from your old hobbies like nothing else. ^^

Yeahhh, my friend watched all of Sailor Moon and she refuses to watch dubs now, too. I didn't realise they actually changed the story, too, I thought it was because of like inaccuracy of dubs that people disliked watching the American versions...
