Thank BUDDHA!!!
Okay, this is going to be semi-quick. First of all, I saw "mein Lieb" this morning....TWICE!! And, I know I shouldn't be thrilled about this, as I usually see him at least once in the morning, but the second time I saw him was after he'd gone to get his coffee. He came back a different way than he usually does, passing by my French classroom again. As he passed by, I was standing outside, he turned to me, looked me in the eye, smiled, and somewhat quietly said "hi". I just smiled. Next time, though, I'm not going to be such a pussy. I hate to sound fucking loserific, but that DEFINITELY made my day. My F in Calc doesn't even matter anymore--well, except that it does, lol. But, you know. Oh, and Elizabeth, from Quiz Bowl, found out his birthday for me. Yay! I hate to sound stalkerific, but, hey--I need to be totally superstitious or whatever you want to call it and check our compatibility via horoscopes, of course! (*BTW, he's a pisces, and, on the Chinese horoscope, a dog!! ;D*) Hmmm....So, yeah. The other thing that TOTALLY made my day was what happened, like, 10 minutes ago. I checked on UChicago to see if, by chance and some grace of Buddha, my Math/Science Teacher Recommendation had been received: As of 5:00 p.m., central time, Wednesday, November 16, it was received!! You guys don't know how significantly that relieves me of stress!! Well, at least in that department. I feel really bad, now, though, because I've been kind of bitching about it to my friends and shit, and I know that Mrs. Harris has been having family health concerns--I just feel really selfish. I hope that everything is going well with her and her husband!!! :/
Oh, and it sucks that I couldn't go to Harry Potter tonight, but I think 'twould have been utterly preposterous for me to try to rely on less than 2 hours of sleep tomorrow at school, THEN turn around and have to work until midnight-ish. Yeah, 'twould have been bad, indeed.
Now, my only MAJOR concerns are my goddamn senior picture orders/turning in my proofs so that I'm in the damn yearbook (I hope it's not too late!!) and ordering my cap/gown/invitations. And there's PLENTY of time for this procrastinator to get the order in for cap/gown/invitations!! lol
So, yes, I'm not entirely as angsty as I was in last night's entry. Thanks, guys, for your continuing support. I love you!!
