Unexpected Love chapter 3
CHAPTER 3 - THE CONCERT
When Max, Roxanne, and Calypso reached the entrance line for the concert hall they waited for their turn to show their tickets. When the ticket take deemed their tickets valid they walked into the concert hall.
"It's amazing that we all got tickets to sit together! You know how hard that is?" Calypso said.
"I know! It's nearly impossible!" Roxanne replied.
"Hey!! Max! Ya made it! Just in time too!" PJ said as he ran up to Max.
"How long till the concert starts?"
"Should be any moment now" PJ said. Max, Roxanne, and Calypso followed PJ to the second row. They each took their seats.
"Hey hey!" Bobby said as he saw Max.
"Hey Bobby"
"Cheese?" Bobby proceeded to hand Max a can of spray cheese.
"Uhh..no thanks.." Max laughed a little.
Bobby shrugged. "Suit yourself" Bobby opened his mouth and sprayed a mountain of cheese in his mouth.
"That..is..so.." Calypso cringed.
Roxanne laughed. "I know what you mean"
"He is never gonna get a girl like that"
Roxanne laughed.
The lights dimmed and the fans started screaming wildly. The stage was all lit up with lights and suddenly the famed voice was heard.
"I would like to dedicate this song to the future special woman in my life..I hope to find her one day.." After Powerline's short introduction he started the song.
"Open up your eyes take a look at me
If the picture fits in your memory
I've been dreamin by the rythym like the beat of a heart
And I won't stop until I start to stand out" Powerline's voice was like a dream. So full of passion with each and every word he sang.
Calypso sighed. "He's so amazing.."
Roxanne was swaying to the beat of the music while Bobby, Max and PJ were dancing like wild maniacs. Calypso looked at them and laughed.
"Boys.." she shook her head.
"Some people settle for the typical thing
Livin' all their lives waitin' in the wings
It ain't a question of 'if', just a matter of time
Before I move to the front of the line"
Powerline ran across the stage and down the "cat-walk" like walk way hunched down giving out high fives to random fans. Then he ran back to the main part of the stage.

Ya gotta believe that I got what it takes"
He winked at a random person in the audience which just so happened to be Calypso.
A light tint of pink graced Calypso's cheeks. Roxanne elbowed Calypso in the side a little.
"You lucky girl you"
Calypso laughed a little.
As Powerline sang the chorus, PJ, Bobby, and Max were singing along with him.
Calypso and Roxanne cringed a little. Max isn't a bad singer at all..It was just Bobby and PJ. According to Calypso on time during a karaoke session they sounded like a couple of cats getting mauled by a pack of wolves.
When he came to the speaking part the lights got dimmer and a spot light shined down on him.

I'm alive" he sang in a more seductive tone during this part.
Calypso got chills down her spine as she listened to him.
The lights came back on little by little as he continued

Then the lights went totally black and the spotlight hit him again.
"It's a piece of cake"
Then the lights came back on full force as he belted out the chorus.
After the song was finished he continued speaking while panting from lack of energy.
"Thank you! Thank you! It's an honor to be able to put on a show for my fans!"
The crowd roared with applause and cheer.
"And this next song I'd like to dedicate to all you you out there who have someone that they love dearly!" Powerline spoke loudly into the microphone so everyone could hear him. Then he started his next song.
"I got myself a notion
And one I know that you’ll understand" he started singing.
Calypso squealed a little. Roxanne looked at her and laughed a bit.
"What!? I can't help it! He's just so amazing!!"
"Can't disagree with you there!" Roxanne said as she started singing along.
"If we listen to each other’s heart
We'll find were never too far apart
And maybe love is the reason why
For the first time ever we're seeing it eye to eye" He seemed to be looking at Calypso as he sang the chorus.
Calypso blushed slightly again.
'Why does he seem to be zeroing in on me?' she wondered.
"If a wall should come between us
Too high to climb
Too hard to break through
I know that love will lead us
And find a way to bring me to you" Powerline sang these words with such a passion.
"Wow, he really puts his heart and soul into his songs!" Roxanne commented.
"I know! He's totally amazing!" Calypso replied as she thought about when her and Powerline's eyes locked. She blushed a little deeper.
Roxanne looked at her. "What're you blushing about?"
"Hmm?" Calypso looked towards Roxanne. "Oh, nothing.."
"Really? It sure doesn't seem like nothing.."
"uumm..I'll tell you later.."
Roxanne nodded. "Okay!"
When Powerline finished up the song the whole crowd was applauding and screaming with joy.
"Thank you! Thank you!" Powerline said.
