Our router kicked ALL of our wireless systems off yesterday when my mom tried to add her laptop. So trying to put my PS3 back on is a freakin pain. My computer was the easiest ever. So why can't my console be the same? I'm using an ethernet cord for now but I don't want to keep using that when I know I can connect it wirelessly. The less cords the better. My boyfriend did it for me last time and made it look so easy. Then again, he's a computer specialist. He claims anyone can learn about and put to use computer tech. I can't understand why it won't work for me. I don't know if the router was completely reset (it has a new name) making it have a new wep passcode. If that's the case, I don't know how I was able to retrieve it last time! OMG! I know it's a simple solution. It always is. Mama needs her Wii for her Netflix and I need my PS3 for EVERYTHING! Crap.
Speaking of Netflix, apparently they are almost doubling in price. I sit back and chuckle at the comments people are making about how stupid Netflix is now and how crappy their online selection is. Im satisfied with the online selection so it's all a matter of preference. When they first came out people couldn't sing enough praises about it. Now it's facing the anger and backlash of their supposedly loyal fans. Netflix indicated they knew this would happen when they made the decision. I just can't understand why people are getting so irate. There are video rental stores and those red boxes still available.
Plus, this is the American way! When people get use to your product, even to the point of it being their only product of choice, raise the price because somebody is gonna be hooked enough to pay it. I find it even more amusing that people seem to think that they can get gold for the price of copper. Getting a monthly selection of the latest most popular movies for less than the price of acutally buying the DVD. Come on people. Capitalism would not have allowed that to prevail for long. Think about it: where is the profit for them? It's a money making machine. I will admit though I have no business or economic degree. This is all from observation fo many many companies.
1:35pm UPDATE:
I was so right!! It was simple solution. I ended up having to reset my router but I got a new pass code and now everything is back up and running! YAY!!! Mama is so grateful she's treating me to Korean dinner. Yumm!!
