When things have been working so well go wrong....
I'm so upset that my laptop's mouse and keyboard won't work. I know it's a simple solution. It's all a matter of finding it. It all seems so complicated. I'm looking at forums and reading other peoples problems. But nothing is clear cut. It's so frustrating. I keep having to restore it and I don't know if that's bad to do over and over. This just goes to show that it's easy to take things for granted when they are working so well.
This makes me think of the computer sciences profession. This career path is dominated by men. It's a very stressful job but I like to think that woman are just as capable as men when it comes to solving computer problems. They just need that extra boost and support because, as I've learned, it is a male dominated profession.
I've just seen the kids movie Gnomeo and Juliet today. There was a part of the movie that kinda bugged me. A mushroom jumped into a frogs mouth and it effectively looked like a bj. And when the mushroom hopped back out, the frog, who was a female, mentioned that the mushroom looks like a fun guy. SAY WHAT?! If kids don't understand the meaning behind it it will probably cause them to wonder what is meant by that. Kids are very smart today. Maybe I'm reading too much into it though. I hope I am. But someone said that that was Hollywood's way of appealing to the adult audience. I guess I'm a prude to be bugged by the insinuation.
