Daddy got a newer tv because it was time for an upgrade. Our older tv used the tri colored cords to connect to the receiver for surround sound. Now, with the new tv, we have to use an optical cable cord, one we've never experienced before. In talking with Clo about it, he said that it elimates all interference and the sound comes through extra crisp and clear. I'm so excited to hear what it sounds like. I thought we had good sound before. With this new cord, will it feel like velvet to our ears?
I just finished ordering alot of items off ebay: swimming goggles, swimming cap and the optical cable. I even ordered a set of cable knitting hooks. It's about time I've learned how to used them as intimidating as they seem. The one item I'm looking forward to the most is the optical cable. I could've gotten it for the flat rate since the seller offered free shipping. But I wanted it here faster so I put in the dollar shipping and handling. I was given a tracking number. I love those. It's like waiting for Christmas. Anticipation!
Then there was a hiccup. Everything was going smoothly until I saw that the package was sent out for delivery.... in the WRONG CITY! It came back to the post office but no doubt that put it a day behind. I also want it so soon because my dad seems antsy about hearing his surround sound. Me too. But fortunately (or unfortunately) my dad has the early shift this week. The last thing on his mind is watching tv. Sleep and rest is a priority. If I'd had the wherewithall when he had first gotten the tv, I would've looked to see what cords would be required and been had it ordered and set up. But I didn't touch it until my dad gave up and handed over the reigns to me to figure it out. *le sigh* Hopefully it will be here tomorrow.
