I went with my mom to her class a couple of days ago. It would make it my third time going with her. I went the first week so I could keep her car out of sight of the campus ticketers. She doesn't have a decal yet. The Second week the same thing. This time I went because I needed to get spray paint from Micheals Arts and Crafts store to color these soda tin flowers I made for my boyfriend and mom for Valentines day. I also wanted to eat at a particular store in that city too.
I go into Micheals and the next thing I know, I'm coming out with 3 skeins of yarn on top of the spray paint I wanted. I got purple and red. So I have all this yarn at home but I couldn't resist gettign more yarn because it's typically $3.49 a skein. Micheals was having a one day sale for this yarn at $1.99! This particular yarn Impeccable is very soft and good quality. How could I turn that down?
So these flowers are turning out better than I expected. The first couple flowers I created I had to figure out how to make them. Thus they are kinda sloppy but still look good when spray painted.
Here is the site that gave me the inspiration.

http://pinterest.com. I'm particularly drawn to the arts and crafts and recipes posted on the site. Someone described pinterest as such:
"Pinterest is a virtual pinboard. I like to compare to a binder that you would use to store all the awesome ideas you found in magazines. Instead of keeping a binder full of magazine pages it is all virtual."
