They're coming out!
So for the past few weeks I've seen kids outside!! I know that may not sound like much. However, in the society we live in today with all the gaming consoles, internet and television and God knows what other entertainment indoors, I find that to be pretty impressive. In fact, they are all on bikes or roller skates! I can't roller skate. I wish I could so I look at some of these kids with envy for both their carefree youth and ability. I do have a bike.... that needs air in the tires. I had gotten a bike a long time ago. I had meant for it to be a cruiser bike back when I went shopping for one and I thought all bikes were built the same. WRONG! I have a mountain bike and it's rather uncomfortable. Sadness. If it were a cruiser bike and if we had a trail it would be awesome to ride it in this cool autumn weather. I kinda want a bike rack on the back of my car. That's a bit much for now though. I'm just happy to see children outside playing like how I used to play when I was younger. It can't be healthy to be couped up in doors all day. Makes me wonder if the increased incidence in respiratory diseases can be partially blamed on desensitization to outdoors.
