bikinis and rock n' roll
first of all, i am quite pleased because the bathing suit that i have been looking for (black with white polka dots) i have finally found!! one wouldn't think it would be difficult to find that pattern in a bathing suit but it was! i just happened by it yesterday and tried it on, and bought it! the store only got 2 from the manufacturer, one was on the mannequin and i got the other. yay! black with white polka dot string bikini - summer, here i come!
i'm also very excited for this weekend. there's a party in a field on the outskirts of town that we are invited to this saturday. i mentioned it in a previous post: it's the stag and doe of people i don't know and jeff's band was supposed to play there BUT the drummer can't make it. they were going to get the guy who's organizing this party to play drums but apparently he ain't that good SO they are getting ME to play!! i LOVE playing drums. i've jammed with them numerous times and even played with them at smaller friend parties but this one will be a lot bigger and i'm SO excited. i was worried that i'd be standing there while they play, just drinking by my lonesome since i won't know anybody but thankfully i'll be on stage playin' my heart out so i won't care. this can also possibly mean free drinks (stag & doe so it's buy your drinks at the bar only). SO sensible shoes are a must for this weekend. bah. i'm usually fashion over function but in this case, it cannot be so.
