Katie.
I really can't tell you how much I love my
dog Katie.
I love her big, brown eyes when she looks up at me wanting a walk. I love
how she leans in for a kiss, which of course I taught her but which she
does willingly and happily. I love teaching her to stay while I leave the
door open to bring my bike into the house, and eventually we'll get good
enough so that she can come on to the front lawn and not run away. I love
how her tail is so short that when she wags it, she mostly wiggles her
entire bum. I love her underbite. I love her giant paws and ears. I love
watching her pounce on her toys, particularly when they skitter across the
floor and she has to chase them. I love how right now she alternately
chews and cuddles a stuffed monkey almost as big as her.
I can't stop kissing and petting and cuddling Katie. she's the best thing
in my life right now, and it would be hard for anything or anyone else to
be any better.
