Forgotten but not lost

Well I feel like a dumbass. I worked on a piece for the Estrella War A&S Competition with asrune  and morgandonner  complete with making costumes and then posted nothing about it. *headdesk* My brain's been everywhere except where it should be. Ugh. Here's the recap:

We did A 14th century secular Italian piece entitled, "Angelica Bilta," by composer Francesco Landini. The piece is a two-part ballata describing an angelic beauty’s earthly descent.

We decided for our creativity aspect we would dress as Venetian Courtesans as if doing the performance as part of our work. We each made dresses that were similar yet they were all different and they came out awesome :o) We got quite a lot of compliments about them which I know made me happy, I'm hoping it made both of them happy as well.

We did ok for our performance. I messed up one part blatantly but we kept going which was key. We got fairly decent scores except for one person who I've decided either A) didn't like our performance whatsoever and was annoyed by us, B) Decided not to read any documentation we provided and just go off the performance itself, or C) got us mixed up with another group. Oh well. Master Lazarus (sp?) Gave us a 9 on documentation so I was shooting the moon over that. Thank you to the wonderful people who edited my work so it didn't sound like a 5th grader was writing it. Asrune and Heather both did an awesome job as well and I'm super proud of us, as was my laurel. In addition, I ended up with an awesome dress that I'm excited to get to wear again sometime soon :o)

So there it is. We performed, we did well, we lost, but that was ok. I'm looking forward to trying and competing in more things in the future; this was kind of my way of showing myself that yes, I can do it. I did it. Can post documentation if anyone is interested.
