Boar's Den, Records breaking, Green Fairies and Singing
Busy weekend. Crazy weekend. Fun weekend. Sad weekend. Happy weekend. Weekend of zaniness and mayheim to say the least.
Saturday was insanity. Boar's Den was fun. Grama got a pacemaker put in. There were 4 offerings for peerages in court. I had a crazy fun time and showed off my backbending skills in a funny "Anne Boleyn" version of the limbo. Went to Sam's party and tried absinthe for the first time. 2 glasses I suffered through, then decided it wasn't for me. Went home and crashed.
Woke up hungover. Never really be hungover before. Head spinning, stomach hurting, only partially remembering what all I did. I know I said or did something I'm gonna regret, but there isn't much I can do about it now. Oh well.
Went to war practice. Jakob and I set up our entire thing, just us 2. I rule. Who needs boys when you've got someone as kick-a$$ as me around? :o) I spent a good majority of my time sitting under our pavilion going through songs and just singing. scribe_ari came over and sang for me which was uber exciting, then Mistress Dairine sang a bit for me as well which was so cool. I have to get better at guitar and bring it out to events more often. Went to court and had 2 more peerage offers; grand total of 6 for the weekend. I think that's a record that's been broken. Seriously.
Went home and took some handsewing to Fonda's so we were both working on stuff when Steve walked in. The night consisted of one hell of a lot of 'MY LAUREL' jokes and gibes. I loved it and I think Steve-o did as well. So happy for him getting offered his laurel. So happy. Put in a bid to do his laureling scroll, we'll see if I'm allowed to or not. I think it'd be fun to have a hand in it but we shall see what happens.
All in all, a crazy weekend. I'm glad Grama's ok now. I'm uber worried about her. Supposed to go see her in March but now I'm hitting the panic button and thinking I need to go sooner. War's in 2 weeks. We lost Crown War. Oh well. I'm all sorts of a mindf*ck. Brain doesn't want to focus. *sigh* JT we shall talk scrolls when I get back from Estrella; I want yours to be perfect and I can't concentrate on it before then. Still working on Anne's. Still have the pile of unfinished ones for the barony. Oy. When did I get so busy? lol at least I'll somewhat have my life back when Estrella ends. Char's supposed to come..... oh yeah.
