Who says you can't go home?
So I ran away to home for the weekend. It was a brilliant idea. Hung out with my mom, saw Patrick the Butcher (YAY!!!!! 3rd time this year!!!!!!!), celebrated my friend Ashley's graduation from college (she got her degree in education! WOOT!), and worked on my Christmas present for everyone.
I gave it a lot of thought, and although I'm still going to apply for the advising job at UA South, I'm going to try and stick it out here. I love working here. How many times have I mentioned that? I know it's been quite a bit. I don't want to leave, though. I think I'd rather suffer through a lack of funding than work somewhere I don't like or have the relationships that I have here. Having a support system in a work setting is so important and I know that I have that here without question.
We go to Vegas Dec 24th and are there through the 27th. I'm going to be sewing and working on scrolls A LOT during the week that I have off. I'm excited about getting to make new garb and I have quite a bit more fabric than I thought I did. I'm also excited about getting to make Rabbit stuff.
Starting the long process of getting ready for Estrella. There's a lot to be done it seems. I'm super stoked; I talked briefly to TRMs and I'm going to be setting up the entertainment for the Royals Feast. Yay! I also submitted our names for the A&S Competition; I'm nervous but I'm just excited to even be competing. Oh boy. Total artsy fartsy kick right now. It's a good feeling :o)
**EDIT: AND I just found out Michael Kelly's coming to Estrella!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
